...And the Real Good Movie

I know I’m late to the party, but Cath and I finally saw LARS AND THE REAL GIRL.

Loooooved it. (Imagine last line said with high pitched, sing-song voice.)

We liked it so much in fact that we are going to force our Small Group from church to watch it with us, so we can talk about it afterward.

Won’t say much here, other than an insight I got from Reel Geezers (thanks, Jeff, for the introduction to Reel Geezers).

Marcia pointed out that LARS is an answer to HARVEY (remember the flick with Jimmy Stewart and his invisible rabbit friend?). But whereas HARVEY was about a community trying to destroy the delusion of one man, LARS is…

A movie you really should see.

Really.

Just my thoughts,

Sean
